The point in which I tried to kill myself was when I lost my family. I was found and am here today looking back on it now I don't think that I would have done that each and every life is precious and we should not waste it once its given to us.

Never
On the lines of personal experience it's not easy watching a loved one attempt suicide wondering if they will recover etc. Resorting to suicide not a pretty sight, nothing is worth the trouble and pain.

Short Answer: Never
Long Answer: Some states like Oregon have an assisted suicide law. I dont know the details but I believe you have to already be dieing to opt for it. I recently heard about an elderly women who was slowly and painfully dieing and opted for the assisted suicide. She threw one last big party with her family and then took the cocktail or whatever it is they give you, and passed away peacefully.

Only if killing myself would save the life of someone I love and if they had a better future ahead of them than I did.

Well, I guess I'd have to work it out with someone, but if I had a disease and I got to the point where I was totally physically or mentally helpless, I'd kill myself (or have it pre arranged that someone would kill me).

I am still here.....My husband died, my children have left, my family has deserted me...yet I am here.
It takes a great deal of courage to live, especially when all else starts to look very bleak. I have that courage.
Although at times, Death would seem a comfort, it is not one that I can afford. When Death comes for me, I shall go....but I will not kill myself to get to Him.

If both of my children died I might - I don't know if I could carry on
If I had a terminal illness and the suffering became intolerable than maybe.

I've attempted once, I overdosed on pills, that's been almost 10 years ago, anyway, there's no way I would now, I have kids to be here for, and I lost my mother at a young age, there's no way I would put my kids through that.

Maybe some day in a nursing home where I was mistreated, I would look for the plug.
