I am moving to NYC and stuff like that. Now what? I have looked around and I need to come up with a resume, how do I do that for acting? And a face shot? Any help will be appreciated.

Do plays at school or in community theatres, take professional classes, those things build a resume. a photographer will take your head shot (not face shot). If you are under 18, your parents will have to help you because you are too young to sign a contract.

Juliard or some acting classes as credentials. Put charities you are involved with on your resume, it helps. Black and white face shot with a brief resume printed on back. Try to get a credit name on some kind of film so you can join SAG without the expensive fees. Go to any function you can to meet people. Be at places actors, directors go to eat or socialize. It is a tough biz.

You need an 8x10 headshot, résumé of acting roles, and name of theaters where you performed.
