When my mom was a small child growing up in the 20's and 30's they lived in a small town and had an outhouse, as did most Americans of that era. There was a man who collected the bucket from the outhouse and left a clean one.
He was called the Scavenger Man. Now that is a terrible job!

Show business, really. And the cleaning up after crimes and disasters business. Its necessary, and of course they wear heavy gloves and haz mat suits. But I could not do it.
