Just have some pasta.
If you're emotions are in turmoil, often your body is too. So don't put anything in there that is acidic or potentially disruptive (such as bean burritos).
The pasta will weigh you down without upsetting anything and it will make you want to take a nap right quick, which is exactly what I feel like doing when I'm upset.
Not to mention pasta is very easy to prepare.

Comfort food is basically food that's bad for you. But I love, love, love it! Easy foods to make are mac 'n cheese and pizza.

Ice cream is also a popular "emotional" food, esp. if you just broke up with someone or watching a sappy love movie.

In my younger days when I hung 'round people from the hood we used to open up a top ramen pack, sprinkle the seasoning, shake it up and eat right out the bag. Same with kool-aid, we used to put it on our hands and lick it!! But this is only if you're really desparate and don't trust yourself with a stove, microwave or dining utensils for that matter.

Good luck!

Emotional food is love. You need love. True love.
To get some love, you must know, love origin from God. God give people love, so people have emotion, people has life, people got apologize when they do bad and suffering, want to change to better life.

If you hungry for emotional food, you must get yourself to God. By understanding God, you will fill the empty heart will love.

You didn't believe in God, then, you will never full your hungryness.

I call it comfort food. It's like soups, sandwiches, mac n cheese. Anything that fills you up but isn't necessarily good for you.
