I really need some help, okay..I don't care if it's illogical or not, you don't really know the situation and I feel no need to elaborate on it..but is there any way.....that I could jump start labor myself..make my water break..or make contractions start? I mean...should I run around the house like 20 times..or anything like that?

Don't be trying to make labor start. At 33 weeks, your baby is not ready to be born. It has a better chance at life if you wait and let your pregancy take it's own course and get closer to the 40 weeks.
If your doctor wanted you to go into labor there are medical ways to do this.
Whatever the reason you are wanting to go into labor, think of the baby and it's welfare and don't do anything crazy that could harm it or yourself. You could end up killing your baby and yourself.
good luck.

I am 33 weeks too and I am feelng the same way. I too am in a situation and you aren't being illogical. I am so anxious to deliver this baby. I have severe swelling (BP is normal), insomnia (I NEVER get sleepy, therefore never resting), lotsa contractions. I understand what you feel.

33 weeks is WAY to early to start that stuff...you can start using evening primrose around 36 weeks, and start the "tricks" then..but you do NOT want to go into labor now..your baby will probably end up with a few days in NICU..it sucks..but just hold it together..sit in the tub, go swimming..things that take the weight off..go get a pregnancy massage..but just hang in there!!

I do know of ways, but your only 33 weeks and I don't want to give advice that could put your baby at risk since you are still so far from your due date. Why would you want to have your baby so early? Your baby's lungs aren't even completley mature and ready yet. Your baby needs as much time in your womb as you can give...do it for your baby.

at 33 weeks, no. And why would you? Your baby needs all the time it can inside you. My nephew was bornpremature, and spent 6 weeks in the NICU. Its absolute hell to see your tiny baby in a pastic box, hooked up to machines to live. Why would you want to wish that upon your child!!

Please for the safety of the baby don't do that. The contractions and everything will come at it's own time, just enjoy you pregnancy for now.
From what you say i belive you have no idea what contractions are like,so be paintint, coz it's not something to joke about,i don't want to scar you but be patient.

why would you want to even do that? don't you know that the longer the baby stays in then the healthier he or she will be. At least the chances are high. Don't rush life
