Helping others in any way you can. It's amazing how good it can make you feel.
And I always try to be happy (no I won't put up a fake smile, I mean a REAL smile) so that I can see the people around me lighting up!

This is a question that requires a different answer from each person. In my case (which may or may not be different than yours) for healing I try to truly rid myself of negative emotions like resentment and I try to truly forgive those who have wronged me in the past (even my mother who passed away 25 years ago.) Also, I ask God to protect me from negativity and help me be a more positive person in the future. To enrich my soul, I try to bring more beauty into my life in the form of music, art and nature. I try to understand people and help them. I try not to get angry when people do not understand me or neglect me. That's tough now, since it seems that we are all reduced to almost nothing in this crazy busy world. I am an Agnostic who believes in God. We can not prove or disprove God's existance, so I believe there are many paths to God. I will try to be respectful.

Hi Rena, helping others is obvious, but to help those sick, depressed, in pain, elderly and dying is most enriching and healing for my soul, I am a certified nurses assistant, and with that I have an opprotunity to really help others get through all of these things, I haven't been actively working, but I will soon and I am really looking forward to it.

Through much prayer and displays of love and affection to those of whom I see and meet on a daily basis. Enrichment of the soul begins with giving.

I don't know that complete healing is ever possible but accepting the wound is there and learning from it makes it less painful.
You can enrich your soul by being compassionate to all living things. And that includes bugs!

great question. the subject however is that everyone seems to be human beings. in case you began throughout, the comparable kinds of humanity that snarled the international device as all of us understand would resurface and in time each thing would return to how that's now. there'll continually be grasping, ability-hungry human beings and persons who're lazy and choose somebody else to hold the burden for them. that's why the present desires of humanity exist and continually will. Jesus, who traditionally began between the excellent humanitarian efforts interior the international, the Christian church, (some professional's and con's in this concern) stated, "the undesirable you will continually have with you". the reason he stated that's because of the fact what makes human beings undesirable is a mix of greed and laziness.

I know this sounds funny, but the biggest tool I found to aid this was (Person Centred) Counselling; pioneered by Carl Rogers.

There was this friend I had, who was a girl, whom I'd known for 3-4 years.

Nothing had ever 'happened'; but we'd got really close. 'Attached' - psychologically. :-)

When we 'broke up' - I found myself spinning, in turmoil. Couldn't concentrate on studies, wasn't interested in anything, restless...

Luckily, the college I was at at the time provided counselling for students undergoing such tough patches.

The process was really healing. The most therapeutic thing I've ever done.

You find yourself going & delving back into the past, and uncovering old wounds that've made / contributed to making you think the way you do - and healing them.

It's almost like magic.

Now I think of it, my counsellor's one of the people to whom I owe the most in this life. :-)

It did make me richer, it taught / helped me to give & to share, to open up & be less afraid.

Made me feel less alone.

Comfortable in my own skin.

To stand straight.

"The more sins you confess, the more books you'll sell". :-)

(Mr. David Baird, in 'A Thousand Paths to Enlightenment').

I'd recommend it to anyone. :-)

Be good to yourself and believe that you're worthy of everything you dream about. Decide each day that you're going to be happy. Believe that God will take care of you.
In the Bible, it says: Underneath are the everlasting arms.
It means that God is always there to take care of you and always will be.

It's an ongoing process. My soul is constantly assaulted, bruised and battered. What I try to do is to see beyond the constraints of this reality. I try meditating to gain insight into the universal conscience that I know exists.
