It's a really old game. I think I played it on an old mac computer but I'm not positive. You had to put the floppy disk in and then start the game. It was a haunted mansion and your character was a boy, you had to type in commands like "Look for a key to the house" and it would give a response like "There is no key to be found, try again".

Once you finally get into the house you had to go through different rooms the same way, by typing a command. If you swore it would say something like "That's not very polite". It was reallyyy fun! And none of my friends remember it.

Do any of you remember it or know what it's called? Where could I find it?

InfoGames put out a number of text based or minimal graphics based adventure games. The Zork series was really poplar.

Go to Underdogs abandonware site and see if this is your game.

I undergo in innovations it nicely. ASCII street and you will turn awesome or left or pass rapidly after which you get to the citadel. i theory it became stated as Castlevania yet i'm uncertain. each and all the video games from that era seem to have been lost to the international.

I remember that game! We played it on an old Comodore 64 - I wish I could help, but I don't remember the name at all.
