It looks like the SD Card got corrupted. I need something free to allow me to repair it (mark the unreadable clusters as bad).

It looks like the SD Card got corrupted. I need something free to allow me to repair it (mark the unreadable clusters as bad). Chkdsk/ Scandisk won't help! It returns an "unknown error" message!

Please help!

If reformatting doesn't help, time to buy a new SD Card, they're so cheap now.

If UK based, try www.mymemory.co.uk for them, under digital camera food/memory I seem to recall

Click Start and then Run. Type cmd and then click OK. Type the following:
chkdsk [sd card drive letter] /r

That will scan for bad sectors on the card and repair any found.

Windows scandisk can mark the bad sectors for you.
