All of sudden in my word documents, a sign IIP in mirrorised form have appeared.I mean P looks like 9 with 2 close lines like 1. I also see a lot of 90 degree arrows showing left. Why and how to do away this, I have a lot of paper work so someone please help me?

Click on Tools/Options then go to the View tab and uncheck the boxes under "Formatting marks"

That is the symbol used to designate a return. There should be a button for it near the top of the window. Clicking it will turn them on or off.

Did you somehow change to a different font? Look at the tool bar at the top, near the buttons to change text to bold, italic, etc. Try changing the funny looking text to a different font and see if that helps.

Its showing all of the paragraph marks. Look for the same symbol on the toolbar and click it.

you have the "white space" markers turned on. click the "backwards looking IP button on the toolbar to turn them off again.
