I agree with the answer above. I have also used both. For small brad holes, interior latex-based white caulk is easier to use. Just don't use too much, just enough to fill the hole. Then wipe away the excess with a wet sponge. Touch-up paint when dry.

Heck, even white toothpaste will work in a crunch.

Use SPACL, drys quick easy to cover with small amount of paint, tooth past just let it dry, easy to paint,

Toothpaste will work, soften some hand soap, that works also.
