While we've been married, I've slept around a lot, my wife is still with me, is she stupid, or is it love?

I've slept at Hilton, HoJo, Holiday Inn, and Ramada just to name a few since I travel so much as a consultant. Why does she stay? Is it the money?

It's like this... most likely she is emotionally and financially dependent on you and feels trapped with no options... or maybe its the pressure from religion, family and social circle.... so she pretends everything is okay on the outside...but inside she is feeling hurt, insecure and worthless.. Cheating hurts my friend.
So...I doubt it's love as Real love has trust and communication attached to it...

You see....many have a fear of the unknown. I know many ... even physically abused partners...(not only women) that stay in a "BAD" relationship (I can't say you have a good relationship since you are cheating...)
because that is what they believe is normal and safe.

I would advise marriage counseling ASAP... you don't sound like you have any remorse... but this is not healthy for either of you...

She told me she doesn't need the money, as last time we slept together was at The Savoy, the week before at The Ritz and before that at The Dorchester and she paid the bill, including the magnums of Champagne that made the afternoon sessions so memorable. Oh by the way she says you are crap in bed! She just stays with you so you can pay the mortgage while she spends her money on enjoying herself.

Does she know about the things you do? If she does, then I would think it's the money but if you don't make much money then it love! I hope she get tested for any thing you might have given to her! Or maybe she is having fun when you are gone and she is there just for money!

Yeah, I think it is stupidity.....yours. And I really hope she is just staying for the money. Since you travel so much, it could be she finds the money liberating so she can treat her lover to nice hotel rooms. It will serve you right to one day wake up and realize that you have spent your life with someone who didn't love you at all.

Are you bragging about sex or hotel stays? If you really think your wife is stupid then my guess is that she would be better off without you. You must not be very happy with the situation yourself. Consider talking with her about divorce. At the very least you both should seek marriage counseling.
