I am quite a music addict and 2 bands I wished MTV europe (the only mtv in my country) played more often when they came out. 12 stone toddler and wolfmother..... both had VERY limited coverage on mtv and I would just like to know, what type of bands are thiese ??? they both have 'something' about them that makes me LOVE them.... but mtv doesn't.... can anyone tell me abit about what they know ?

i would say there are like glam rock/retro metal
hahaha i guess they've created their own genre.

Never heard 12 stone toddler but I would classify Wolfmother as a cross between hard rock and heavy metal. I also love Wolfmother.
