Starting a war based on Iraq having WMD when the weapons inspector's after months and months of searching in Iraq were unable to find any, and to the this day have we yet to find any.

Failure to comply with the U.S. judicial system's subpoena's to submit White House documentation regarding the firings of the U.S. attorneys and failure to comply with another subpoena request to have 2 of his counsels testify in court.

Continued lack of war strategy in Iraq that is costing tax payers trillions of dollars.

Illegal wire tapping.

The approval of torture to Iraqi detainees and prisoners which goes against the Geneva Conventions.

While Katrina victims are drowing Bush is playing his guitar.
This would have to fall into a catergory of some sort that shows failure and lack of interest to take action during a time of crisis.

Putting the reputation of his appointed officials before the interests of the United States. The failure to appoint officials to positions who met the job requirements. Ex. FEMA director, Mr. Brown who Bush said was "doing a heck of a job" and then is relieved of his fema duties shortly after. Donald Rumsfeld who clearly did not know what he was doing and was finally relieved of his duties. Alberto Gonzales who clearly did not have a good memory because he said "I do not remember" too many times.

I have never agreed with the idea of impeaching him. You would have to do the same with Cheney. I always thought it would put this country and citizens in more turmoil than we could handle. However since he has begun to focus on Iran. Spouting the same rhetoric as when he invaded Iraq I am beginning to think differently. These 2 must go. Now I am aware to impeach them you need more than sabre rattling. Who in this country would bring these 2 up on charges of torture and crimes against humanity? Which I feel they are guilty of.

1) He created global warming in his secret cauldron.
2) He created Hurricane Katrina to wipe out only the black population of the South.
3) He cleverly planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks for the sole purpose of going to Iraq for oil that he never got but pretended to be looking for WMDs that he was unable to plant and find.
4) He gave me a flat tire on the way to work today.
5) He doesn't care about black people, North Koreans, ducks, martians, or ghosts.

Starting the war in Iraq. It was America's first pre-emptive war, and it was done under false pretenses. If Bush knew the reasons were false, he's a liar of the highest order, way more than Clinton. If Bush didn't know the reasons were false, he has displayed gross incompetence. Either way, I think he definitely should have been impeached, especially since Clinton got impeached for trying to cover up marital infidelity. I know some people will get upset, "marriage is a sacred vow!" and "he committed perjury!" But is it really worse than starting a war?

Playing a role in the attacks on 9-11 and then lying to the country about it.

Going to war over WMDs and then admitting to the country there were none--yet somehow, we're still over there.

No, we will just have to let the normal semi-democratic process rid us of him and his poor decisions. Fortunately, even the constituency from his early presidency realizes the standing of the US on the world stage would continue to go down if we stayed his course.

For breaking his oath of office, by not defending the Constitution of the United States, by allowing people to be arrested and not informed of the charges against them.

If Clinton, Nixon, and Andrew Johnson didn't get impeached why would Bush? I don't think that a US President will ever get impeached.

Some will give you a lot of reasons THEY think it should be done but not a single one of those reasons is actually an impeachable reason or they have nothing to back it up so therefore can't really use it.

There is no reasons in truth. He's done nothing to be impeached for.

ret_roch_cop has it 100%.

The only one;

IN ORDER TO BE IMPEACHED YOU HAVE TO STAND ACCUSED OF A FELONY!

Don't you libs ever get tired of this same 'ol, same 'ol? If there were the slightest chance that one of those dingbatocrats in the Senate could bring a felony charge, don't you think it would have been brought by now? Wise up.
