I'm curious.

Why does this need a further explanation? This is the LGBT area of Y!A and there are all sorts of questions like What do guys look for in a girl? or What does a woman expect from a man? so, I just figured since so many straight people shop here, they must be shopping for LGBT folks, So I asked the question. Should I have asked, "So, what brings you here today?"

I have a friend who is gay. He's a nice person. He look very masculine from his physical appearance, voice and personality. But deep inside, he is a homosexual. No one knows his sexual orientation except for his gay friends and myself. He respect me as a friend and i do not want to know much about his gay activities. He knows i'm not interested in men.

What brings me here today is what brings me here whenever I'm on YA. I find intelligent discourse from decent people on here. That's what I'm looking for. True, I have to sometimes get through the bigotry and inanity of the anti equal rights crowd, but when you get to the regulars on here I find good people. Some are G,L,B,T and some are like me, what I call ES for Evolved Straight. I prefer that to make the distinction between us and the BS crowd, or Bigoted Straights.

Let's see, I'd like a lovely Gentleman with a good fashion sense but not too much (otherwise he wouldn't like being with Truck and I), who could cook, clean house and do the taxes.
Then he'd have to know how to keep up his end of the conversation on several subjects -- history, science, science fiction (several genres)- have a wide range of music and be easy going. He'd also have to like to shop as Truck doesn't and I need a shopping buddy.

Oh, sorry, I thought I was supposed to be looking for a nice Homosexual Gentleman..... I misunderstood the Question. I'm not Straight at all. I'm VERY Happy. Sorry Dearest!!!

Now some Straight People *are* our friends and are meaning to help us. The others can just toodle on off because they know they're here to be nasty or to at least tease and that's not nice at all. So be so kind as to sod off. (Not you, Dearest...)

Ummm, I don't look for homosexuals because I'm straight. You need to explain what you mean a little more.
