You know this is a scam. Your gut is right This has been going on for a long time. The seller is talking about eBay "Safe Pay" which does not exist - at least as an eBay entity. eBay does not handle money in any transactions - including their own auctions. Check this forum. This scam has been posted in here at least once a day for the last couple months. Keep your money.

Put a million foxes in space suits, tie a rope around the sun, and ride a fox-sled home through space. Do a quick loop around Venus while you are there because there is no point in going all the way out there, and not making the quick trip over.
