Ideo, individuals VOLUNTARILY WORK TOGETHER UNDER MUTUALLY AGREED UPON TERMS to create wealth.
THAT is how "society creates wealth."

iwanotanazi - what about the other 90% of the budget?
"What about the roads and bridges" is just not an answer. That's a tiny fraction of what is taken from us and pizzed away.

There you go again with the name calling and personal attacks. Try debating REAL issues for once. Let's see how you do. I'll bet you'll get your butt whipped badly.
Since there are no collectivist lefties in control of the US or even close to power your question is moot. As for organized theft you should offer up some sort of evidence where one can analyze it. Otherwise people see you as a ranting, raving lunatic and merely laugh at how ignorant you are.

Is organized theft taxation? If it is, just look around you. We have a nation to run. We have our safety to ensure. We have roads, bridges, police, firefighters, libraries, schools, a great military, a space program, diplomatic relations with 150+ countries, etc, etc. How are we supposed to pay for this without taxes? Social Security is from taxes many of us have paid over the past 40 or more years.
You can't go back, you can't retreat. You gotta pay for your protection. Who's going to monitor our ports and airports? Who's going to keep drug pushers from importing their death? Who?

Organized theft is all around you. Take the Trillion dollar war in Iraq. That war did NOT have to happen. Now me, my kids, and my grand kids will be paying for it for a long time. I feel this money is being stolen from me. I don't see any from the right complaining about the theft of this money.

You should study public finance.
The mistake almost every conservative makes is they think only THEY earned what they make. You can't earn a dime unless you live in a society. Societies create wealth, not individuals. Societies cost money to operate. That's what taxes are for. If you didn't have courts to protect your rights (paid for by taxes), you'd be robbed more than you currently imagine.
If Bill Gates lived on an Island, he would have made exactly ZERO from selling his buggy operating system.
