you will probable could wait till you're a minimum of 20 weeks. that's while they do the anatomy ultrasound and that's the excellent time to make certain the intercourse besides. Any time formerly that's not one hundred% precise as a great way because of the fact the intercourse is going. purely wait that's going to all be well worth it.

If the baby is cooperative, expect to know the sex. And also expect to bring pictures home. They are going to check the babys organs and bones and most likely explain everything. Ask questions! Try drinking a glass of O.J. or a cold glass of water before your appointment to get the baby moving. I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and they told me the sex. Congrats!

Expect to be excited about seeing your baby inside of you. Nothing will disappoint you as long as it is developing great and the doctor has a machine that shows the baby well. You should get a couple of pics for your keeping and you'll find it fun. I wish I could get one at every visit.

You'll get pictures, and as long as your baby "shows it's goods" you'll get to see if it's a boy or a girl. :) So exciting! I have to wait 2 more weeks before I get that ultrasound done too. I'm going on October 18th. How about you?

You'll get pics for the family =)
They might be able to tell the sex, but you may have to wait a couple more weeks. It all depends.
With my first, they knew at 15 weeks that it was a boy.

this is the big scan!! you if you want can find out the sex. the ultrasound scan is mainly to check the dhad and spine, chest and heart, abdomen, liver, stomach and kidneys, arms and legs, hands and feet, bladder and genitalia.Ultrasound can also assess the position of the baby, how the baby is growing, if the amniotic fluid volume is high, low or average, the location of the placenta, if the mother's cervix is starting to change, and whether there are fibroids on the mother's uterus.

Some hospitals don't give out babies sex, so just check first. The Dr will turn the screen away from you first to do all his measurements and checks, then when all is ok he spins it round and you can see baby. They point out the head, arms legs etc and should show you the heart beating. Its magical, I'm excited for you..

You'll get pictures, be sure to ask for them. So long as baby doesnt have its legs crossed you'll know the sex.
Its fun. Takes about 40 minutes. You just lay there and they do the sonogram.
