It's blocked for a reason, not only is it taking your time away from School, but it is a HUGE security risk.
Even if you do use a proxy site, that raises a red flag on the server...it stores your username and the time you attempted to access the site into a log file. You could lose your Internet privilege or even get suspended/expelled for violating the Internet Usage Agreement you agreed to before using the Internet at school.
I highly suggest you just wait until you get home to get on MySpace...it's not worth the risk.

Your school is blocking it because they want to stop you from accessing information on the net that they don't want you to access. It might be worth pointing out that governments of countries like China and Burma apply similar draconian policies to residents of their respective countries!
Jump on the net and do a search for "web proxy", these are sites that hide both the identity of your machine and the address of the page you're browsing. Most filtering packages try to keep up with the latest list of proxies, so you might need to try a few until you find one that works. Fortunately there are plenty of dedicated souls out there determined to help keep the proxy pool alive.
Good luck.

Be careful, I don't think that it toyour best intrest. Myspace can download tons of viruses to there computer. If it is blocked and you use a proxy site to open it. You may get into big trouble. I would suggest you wait a few more hours and although I know it is really fun wait. You dont want to owe anyone for messing up school property.

The sites are blocked for a reason. You are in school to learn and get an education. If you are wanting to get on those sites that are blocked then go somewhere else after school. You are in school to learn and not there to be on the sites that are blocked. Sorry that I am not more help.

There is to Ways to get around the problem of myspace at school. 1 go to google.com at type myspace and go to the chase link it will take you to myspace but google page will be at the top. 2 type in home.myspace.com that will give you a back door to myspace.
