You have a token not a Canadian mint item. Canada is famous for it's so-called trade dollars. They are issued by cities and towns for different events. They usually have a value that is only good up to a certain date on the token itself. I have several from Prince Edward Island as well as Nova Scotia. There is a book out on them but I do not have it. You might try a search in google for Canadian trade tokens and she what shows up. Without the book this is the best I can do. Most sell from $5 to $20 but there are some rare ones.
