I think the whole idea of Guy Fawkes is abhorrent.
I think it's about time we dropped it.
I have no objection to fireworks, in fact I love them. But in an age where terrorism is still prevalent we should put aside the idea of celebrating the executing Catholics in a barbaric manner and concentrate on remembering something more positive.
Lets go back to the original fire festivals and celebrate the creative force nature rather than the bloody aspect of it.
It's hardly any wonder that this event has remained so English.

multiple the English have been common to ask your self, no remember if or no longer they're celebrating Fawkes' execution or honoring his attempt to get rid of the government, the very actuality we are allowed to have fun all all in basic terms is going to coach good overcame evil. He tried to explode the government as he considered they have been being unfair to Catholics and on the time it replaced into considered criminal we have fun the reality he failed in his project, yet have fun his stance on the priority.
