My fiance and I are getting married June 8th. Our baby will be two months old when the ceremony takes place. We wanted to go to Florida for a few days for our honeymoon, how long can we be gone, with the baby being so young?

We can't change the wedding date because we've been planning it for a year and a half now. I know if we put off the honeymoon till the baby is older, we'll end up NEVER going. And we don't want the baby to go with us because it will greatly limit what we can do. It's our honeymoon, we want to be kid-free. NO this does not mean we don't care about our child.

Go for whatever time period is comfortable for you. If the baby's going with you, then your time is unlimited. If he or she is not, then pump more than enough breastmilk for how long you'll be away. If you're formula feeding, then you don't have to worry about that at all. :)

Happy wedding, baby and honeymoon!

I did the same thing a few months ago don't sweat it. If you have a grandparent or a sibling of yours to care for the child you will be fine. We had a small honeymoon for 3 nights on the coast of the carolinas and we enjoyed our last free time together and got some much needed sleep!!! I say go for it, don't think about I can't do this or that even if you are breast feeding you can still take your pump with you and do that so as your supply will not diminish.

Have a great trip and congrats! Its a celebration after all!!

It will be hard to leave a breastfeeding baby for very long without messing up your supply.
Why not wait for the honeymoon until your baby is older.

Even better, get married before the baby is born. Take your honeymoon now.

Bonding with your child cannot be put off like your vacation can be. Take your honeymoon now or put it off until the child is older. It isn't the child's fault that you chose to get knocked up outside of marriage.

If the baby isn't breastfeeding then it is really up to you. How long would you want to be away from the baby. I can't imagine being away from a 2 month old for more than a few hours, but if you are ok with leaving the baby with someone else then a few days should be ok. The baby won't remember it anyway. At 2 months old they don't remember you when you leave the room.

If you're not breastfeeding then go have a good time it might be the last time for a while, it will not harm the baby to be left with a loving relative for a few days, enjoy your honeymoon.

The baby is 2 months old....the baby will not even know you are gone. It's only a few days.....you will have more trouble with it than the baby will. Go enjoy, you probably could use a little break at this point.

you should take the honeymoon as long as you have planned. i would get someone like your parents or his to watch the baby while you are gone. you need to have time alone together without the baby. it wouldn't be a fun oneymoon

That will be up to you and the people caring for the baby while you're away. Are you going to be breast feedig? If so, it would be better to wait to go on your honeymooon until the baby is older.

There according to threat area outcomes from taking the pill, however the pill is extra clever than the pull out technique or only utilising a condom by myself. i might get your fiance on the pill and you utilize a condom for back-up secure practices. My gynecologist placed me on the pill with low estrogen and that i've got not got any area outcomes different than for minor problems (it is because of the fact I take my pill at night and that i take it with foodstuff). yet your fiance's Gynecologist is the only one that could tell her which delivery administration is ideal for her.
