Ha! The fifties were great if you were white, male, and well off! Otherwise, there were lynchings, "sit on the back of the bus", you could be killed for LOOKING at a white woman. Women were expected to marry out of school and have babies, be submissive to husband, no career, no say in the household... The fifties was an AWFUL time for anyone other than well off white men. Me, I would go back to ancient Egypt, cool clothes, prosperous country, no racism (other cultures were tolerated well, as long as they didn't try and take over), and women could own property, testify in court, divorce their husbands, have jobs.... Interesting question!

I wouldn't go back that far because i'm black. I'd stick to the late 70s at the earliest. It would really have been cool to be 30 in the early 80s...

I have to agree with you on that one. family was important back then and people ate dinner together every night. You didnt hear about as much crime then either. That was also before drugs became popular as well. It seems like a pretty good life.

I would go back to 1999. I made a big mistake that year that caused me a lot of mental pain. My life would be different know no doubt if I hadn't made a decision out of anger.
