Some people I know say that the world is about to end and we should ask God for deliverance, whatever that is. Is the world about to end? I hope it doesn’t come before the weekend as I’m going out riding and I don’t want to miss that.

The world is coming to an end and you will not know when. The world ends for everyone. Don't waste precious time worrying about it. It will not hurt, and you will not know.
Live your life and have fun like it was your last day.

Yes, it is. The real question is when is it going to end. I am confident we will make it through the weekend though. I have a ride planned this weekend too, so I do not want it to end either.
As for prayer, I would say one at least everyday just to be safe. Plus I am sure that God would love to hear from you. I know I love hearing from you.

Yes, it is coming to an end. Judgement Day, that is (we've got no idea that exact time or date that will be though). And that is when we will find out where we will be going for eternity. If you don't want to go to the firey pits of Hell, then I suggest you give your life to the Lord. Not only because you don't want to go to Hell, but because your life will be better than you could ever possibly imagine if you put it in God's hands. Don't take my word for it, take God's word for it (meaning, read what the Bible says). Okay?

I doubt it...certainly, it's not worth giving up breathing or sex (or riding!) while you wait to find out. Leave the worrying to the holy rollers--it'll give them something to do beside getting in everyone else's hair.
