I would like to know if a new computer monitor. Eg samsung, would work on an old computer. The computer is a pentium 4 from 2002.

Do the newer monitors have a different type of plug in etc?

Thank you

Yes it will work.

If you get a widescreen monitor you will probably need to update your video drivers to get support for widescreen modes.

It should. Some newer Computers have DVI sockets instead of VGA. Not to worry if it does just buy a converter.

If it has a vga (d-sub) connection it will work.
