No, this is not a bad sign, however, if you see a dog fly out of your garage and start circling the bird feeder, I'd move to another state.....of consciousness! :)

I cannot find anything in the Superstition part of the Internet that says anything specifically about a robin other than one that says it's good luck if one gets into your house. However, superstitions mean different things in different cultures. Some things that are bad luck in one are good in another.
If your garage is attached I would consider it part of the house but if separate then no.
See, I just found this on the internet. The one above said good luck and these two say death.
A bird in the house is a sign of a death. If a robin flies into a room through a window, death will shortly follow.

a robin is a lovely bird, its only an old tale,i used to believe in that stuff but i realise if things are going to go wrong they will,it's not possible not to see a robin, magpie, crow, etc because they live here too, plus i think you're lucky seeing one in the first place, the only unlucky thing about birds is if a cat gets them!

My grandmother used to say that if a bird flies into your house then someone is going to die. But 1. I don't believe that stuff and 2. the bird flew in your garage and not actually into your house so I think you're safe. :-)

It depends on what food they're eating . Table scraps can upset or mess up the balance on what you dog may have been eating previously . If a dog keeps eating table scraps , the dog will eventually become picky on what he's eating . Thats why you never give a dog soo much table scraps . Its not only bad if they're on a diet but its also bad for the balance in their health .

So list all of the people you know who have had 1) a robin that flew into their house and 2) befell horrible misfortune because of that.
Seriously, think about what your asking.

Robins are typically good-luck birds. However, when a bird enters a house, death soon follows.

Self fulfilling honey. The next time something goes wrong you'll blame it on the robin. Same with magpies.
