Is it because the ball Al Gore got rolling is now in a form that they can't criticize for being partisan?

"The evidence is now clear- industrial civilization has caused irreparable damage....there are too many of us using too many resources too fast....the problem is that every living system is in decline and the rate of decline is accelerating."

The "irreparable" parts involve things like 55,000 species going extinct every year. There are things we can fix, things we can't fix. Doing nothing leads to an earth like Venus- 270 degree Celsius (518 Fahrenheit) surface temperatures with sulfuric acid rain.

Hey I am a Republican and I have been screaming about global warming for years. Sadly, even Al Gore isn't willing to take the steps the country needs to take in order to help reverse the problem.
The solution is simple. A switch to hydrogen powered cars and a switch to solar, wind and nuke power plants. The power plants might take decades, but the switch to hydrogen powered cars could be done within 15 years.
Here is how.
Allow 10 years for development and construction of the hydrogen fueling infrastructure. Estimated cost $1.5 trillion dollars. Sadly taxes do have to go up to pay for this, it something that has to happen.
Now at the end of that 10 years all auto manufacturers will be required to sell only hydrogen powered vehicles. No more gasoline. Give it another 5 years and then stop selling gasoline completely. This will force everyone to make the switch.
Now you might think that its not realistic since most people cant afford the new vehicles. Not to worry, both Ford and GM have engines that can be a direct drop in replacement for gasoline engines. So all those millions of people dont have to come up with the money for a new car.
And there you have it, 15 years and the US is gasoline free.

Many good scientists nevertheless disagree. those in confrontation with Gore's schedule are precisely like a tree falling interior the wooded area. Their words are purely no longer heard because of the fact every person on earth knows there is purely no marketplace for good information. there is a stunning form of medical information opposite to Gore's schedule. i'm afraid you purely have not heard it.

maybe because they see it as just another scare tactic by the left
maybe because it's just a movie
maybe because there is no credibility in the belief that because you are driving an SUV means you are destroying the earth.
maybe because no one really believes that being a successful, civilized nation means you are destroying the earth.
maybe because if we were all riding around in horses and were knee deep in horse crap, these people would be saying the same thing.
maybe because all roads lead to where we stand, and no matter what course of action eight billion people take, we need to come to the realization that it is out of our hands and the God of the bible is in control and we need to recognize that trusting in Him is the true lesson that needs to be taught and learned
maybe because the self-righteous hypocrites that spew this nonsense are seen for what they are.
I don't know, it's a tough question.

If it's irreparable then why are we so obsessed with repairing it? Would our time and resources be better spent find ways to deal with the changes rather than on fruitless efforts to repair the damage?..........

I don't acknowledge biased movies by Leo DiCaprio. It's quite obvious he's doing this so he can get teenage girls to follow his platform. It's a cheap tactic in my opinion.

If it's irrepairable, what would you have us do? I know, we can all hold our breath.
