Sure. And I still do. If dogs start howling in the surrounding counties, I figure they're singing right along with me!

Yes, I did. I still do when I hear a song I love.
I always felt the need to share the good sounds with others. I never felt stupid about it.
One lovely autumn day while heading home, I was listening to the Beatles and I started singing. There was a couple walking and they turned around and stared and then smiled. Later that day, I noticed that one individual walked by my apartment. I guess he enjoyed the music. It was fun because I was 63 at the time.

Let it out, girl, and never be embarrassed to sing your heart out.

Always and still. To the embarrassment of my children and grandchildren. Never could carry a tune in a bucket but that has never stopped me. Can't dance either but I do love to shake a leg. My kids keep wondering how I know the words to all the songs that are remakes from the 60's and 70's. Though I was born in the 50's I was married to a much older man and know the songs of his and my parents generation.

Oh yeah. That was fun. Used to do it when my folks didn't want me around when they were in the store. So I would sit in the car and look out the windows and make faces at everyone while I was singing. Of course some one invariably said something to some one else and it got around the store and my folks would hear about it then I would get smacked right then and there for acting like an idiot. That wasn't fun at all.

In the 50's I wasn't alone in the car. My Dad, two sisters and brother, would all be singing at the top of our lungs to the radio.
"One Eyed, One Horned, Flying Purple People Eater" for one.
The Chipmunks were popular also. We sang them all!
Beep Beep, Beep Beep his car went Beep Beep Beep!
We enjoyed singing in the car.

Oh yeah, when the beat gets to you, you just have to let it out. It's like singing in the shower. Don't care who hears you, and whether or not they like it or not. Also have to drum my fingers on the steering wheel to the beat. And when a real good song comes on have to crank up the volume. Riding down the HWY.

When I was growing up, we didn't have a car. I did sing my lungs out on my swing though! Cruising down the river and Gooddnight Irene were ones I remember.
