You answered your own question: Duhh meaning like he's smart but makes stupid decisions.
Basically, he's an airhead. But that's typical of 15 year old boys. Don't worry about it. He will probably grow out of it around age 68. If you end up dating you'll grow out of him way before then. You may not like my answer but mom's really do know best, because they are experienced and history always repeats itself. So you can deny it but in about 10-15 years you'll have to agree when you're watching teens go through the same things and you'll try to warn them and they won't want those warnings. They believe that it won't happen to them just because it happened to you. It will. The boy is a dummy but you can date him anyway.

Aren't you a little young to be dating? As for what your mom said, ignore it. She's just being a little judgemental and overprotective right now, like all moms are at times. So Cody makes stupid mistakes right now at times- and your mom thinks you don't? Come on, nobody's perfect, at least not in this world. We all make mistakes and do stupid things sometimes- that's part of life, and how one learns. Your mom needs to give you a break on this. If I had a dollar for every stupid mistake I have made in my life, I'd be as rich as Bill Gates is now. As for you, you need to focus on school and on being a kid, not on dating and sex. You and Cody can be friends, yes, but make sure it's JUST friendship, and not anything else. Hope this helps.

Believe it or not there is a huge difference between 13 and 15! I think you need to look for friends in your own age bracket! I know it does not seem like it but he is able to do things you can not do, and into things you should not be into!
You are too young to worry about dating, you should focus on school and friends not BOYS (even though your hormones are going insane) Just wait, there is plenty of time to date but you are running out of time to be a kid, and once that is gone you will never get it back!

hey im kristina im 18 and i decided to answer your question.. hope im not abrupt or harsh....
ya sure everyone makes mistakes, but come on your mom shouldnt be soooo judgmentally. i have parents the same way. they take one look at someone and they already judge them before they even get to know them. also not to burst your bubble but come on you are to young to be thinking or dating right now; there are so many other things you can be doing at this age. i have a 10 year old sister and is trying to get a boyfriend..... i just want to strangle her jk:) but you still have your whole life to look forward to and you dont have to waste your young youth boy scoping... just wait till at least 15 the right boy will come along and when he does youll be glad you waited...:) take care i hope i helped:)

As a mom I think your mom is wanting you to not be serious about someone who does not think before he acts. You are way to young for a serious relationship. If you are just friends maybe remind your mom of that. I have told my daughter who is 17 that I don't always like things about her boyfriend, but I have to also trust that someday she will see the light. Don't be mad at your mom, moms want their kids to be safe and with someone who will treat them like gold.

well that wasn't very nice. but she is just looking out for your best intrests. they might not always be right or what you are interested in. if you like him and he's a nice guy, then don't worry about what your mom thinks. my mom's the same way, she always has to make little comments like that about my boyfriend. i just brush it off. as you should do :)

maybe she thinks you could do better...remember in any parents eyes no one is good enough for their child...

and you don't need to be worried about dating and boyfriends right now...focus on being a kid and school...
