I want to do the breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, and it is already booked up... So are there like Dining Reservation Scalpers who book these things up and then sell them? If so, who do I have to pay off to do one of these things?

Sadly those things really book up. You have to book them (it used to be 3 months to the day) but now it is 6 months out. I would call about as far inadvance as you can. People treasure these things!

Cinderella's Table books pretty far in advance. It used to basically sell out the first day it was offerred for booking, since they raised the price it takes a little longer, but still sells out most of the time.

As far as scalpers, Disney put a stop to this. People used to book the breakfast and then offer it to other people, but this is no longer possible, so won't help you out much.

To get it booked, there really are two options. First, try calling everyday until your trip, you may get really lucky and get a cancellation (you may have to be a little flexible with time and date, the more open you are, the more likely they are to find something) The second is to continue calling once you get there. You are more likely to get a reservation when you are there because Cinderella's requires a credit card hold, which means if it isn't cancelled you get charged for the breakfast anyway. So, more people cancel this breakfast when they can't make it (a lot of other restaurants people don't cancel because they aren't charged if they don't show up) You could also try going to Cinderella's to see how long, if they have any openings, a wait would be. Sometimes they can squeeze you in.

I'm not sure who is wanting to go to Cinderella's, I know it is a must for a lot of little girls, which can make it hard to replace. However, you may consider some other options. For example, The Princess Story breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT is a great option if you want a princess meal, but doesn't sell out as fast. You can't eat in the castle, but you do get a princess meal. I personally have not been very impressed when I went to Cinderella's Royal Table, it is pretty costly and you can get a much nicer meal elsewhere for the cost. But again, if seeing Cinderella or eating in the castle is really important, there is no replacement and cost isn't really an issue. Another option would be to try for lunch or dinner, they don't usually sell out as fast, if that would be an option.

Hope this helps. Good luck getting a reservation.

Disney wants to keep the reservation as fair as possible and they don't want scalpers taking advantage of people so reservations are non-transferable and you must present ID at the check-in podium for this location.

Did you ask about lunch and dinner? Those do not book as quickly as the breakfast. Dinner is a little different because the character meet & greet is in the lobby - they do not come to the table for this meal.

There are other places to see Cinderella. There is the "Cinderella's Happily Ever After" Dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian resort. This is a traditional character meal with the characters coming right to your table. The usual characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine (Stepmother), Drucilla and Anastasia (stepsisters). The Grand Floridian is a very pretty resort and on the monorail loop so you can easily exit the Magic Kingdom and then return after dinner.

Cinderella sometimes appears at the Princess Storybook meals at Akershus Castle in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot but there is no guarantee. There are always at least a couple of Disney princesses at those meals and it is a very nice setting so that may be an option if Cinderella is not essential to the experience.

Are you going at a busy time? If so, can I tell you that we always discourage our clients from booking character breakfasts during peak travel times. The time immediately following park opening has the shortest lines and is your most productive time for experiencing attractions. We hate to have our clients in a restaurant during low crowds, only to go out to try to ride rides during higher crowds. This is especially true if you are interested in the attractions in the Fantasyland area of Magic Kingdom. We'd much prefer that you enjoy the lower crowds and shorter lines and then enjoy a nice sit-down lunch when the crowds are at their peak.

There are other places to see Cinderella in the park. I've included a link to the Princess Page on my agency website. The top portion is organized by Disney theme park. You can scroll down to the lower portion which lists the princesses alphabetically and gives their locations.

Princess Breakfast Disney

Unfortunately there are no scalpers that will sell you tickets to the breakfast because there are no hard tickets for any of the character meals, it is done by reservation numbers that are in the Disney's computer system. My suggestion to you is to keep trying no matter what, because there is always cancellations. When we went a couple of years ago, we wanted to go to the same breakfast but when I called to make the reservation, they told me that it was all booked up and that there was nothing I could do about it. However, when my husband came home that night from work, he called and tried to make a ressie himself, not only did he get a reservation for us, but he was able to get another table for my sister and her family. Just make sure you are flexible with your times because, if there is an opening, it may be early (before the park opens) or it may be the last seating (about 10:30ish). Good luck because it is well worth it.
