LOL yeah I think there are alot of us out there. My husband doesnt play Xbox but he plays all the others though and yes they can get so caught up in it they dont pay any attention to us. My husband and I had several arguements about it when we got married but we now have an agreement that if he gets to a point where I am feeling neglected I tell him and he doesnt play for a while and actually spends time with me and our children.

Best advice talk to him calmly and tell him how you feel.

LOL if that doesnt work I used clear finger nail polish on the laser eye to make it not be able to read the disks! But if you just have enough $$ to buy a new one I dont advise it.

But really the best thing it to talk to him first.

I'm not a wife, but I'm a girlfriend.

Those damn games take SO much of his time. I told him once that if I stripped for him while he was playing halo, I'd prob. be pushed aside because he couldn't see the TV. He laughed and told me no- He's just pause the game.

But really-- It's not that big of a deal in my case. He shuts off the system- and only plays it when Im taking a long time dressing. I even enjoy fighting with him in the games.

He has a Job, and a car. He shows me love- He just shows that xbox love too. LoL. Can't hate though- I do the same to my cell phone.

Men.
Can't live with them, and Can't live without them.
Krazy.

YESSSS, except it's not x-box, it's his online game that never ends. (similar to warcraft). When I'm not at home or sleeping, he spends every waking minute on that dang computer, but when he's sleeping or not home, I have clean the freaking house, pay our bills, grocery shop, & take care of our 3yr old. He couldn't even break himself off his game to make me a pot of coffee before I woke up on Mother's Day!! If he put the same effort into helping me around the house, helping with kids, & paying me some compliments, maybe he'd get less bitching & more nookie.

I most certainly do. My husband can play that video game for more hours on end than he can talk to me (30 minutes tops). You fell less important in his life than a video game. There just does not seem to be enough face to face interaction, not to mention the intimate part of the relationship.

well..If my husband would be playing x-box to the point that I feel neglected then he should #1 grow up, #2 get a job, #3 get the hell out my house!
If this is your case honey leave now before it gets worst!

Negleted is not the word, abandon is more like it. He come home from work eat gets his things ready for the next day then he plays the game until midnight. On the weekend same thing except its start early in the morning. At least his at home with me.

,well my best friend was married and she felt really neglected when her husband sat all day after work and played the video game. they would argue and things got worst. what they both failed to realize was that both people need personal time to deal with their issues and stresses from every day life. It doesn't make sense to argue about it communication is the key, just tell that hubby that you want a little time with him to just talk or anything else (wink wink) lol.

What you need to do is find you a hobby to do while he plays games. If you don't enjoy playing with him. Also, set aside times to play games and other things so that you both are on the same page and have time together also.

Look at it this way: a husband who's at home playing x-box isn't at the local bar playing women! A smart wife won't complain.
