Not trying to be rude, but the fact that you referred to it as "man flu" would indicate that it's not really that severe and that you've probably just got the sniffles which would cause as much pain/discomfort as a broken nail. However, on the plus side - you were gentlemanly enough to go out and get the pain pills for her?

It's the exact opposite with me and my boyfriend. When he gets the sniffles I'm bringing him chicken noodle soup and ginger ale. But I could be knocking on death's door and he'll ask me if I'm going to cook!
