AA
what a decision
i talk for my self
i lived worked studied loved in England
at that time i was not able to be home(Jerusalem)
the minute i got the family reunification and finished studies it did not took a glance
i was then leaving going back home
Jerusalem meant to me roots ,family, parents, friends, brothers ,sisters ,life.
breathing then the other half came later
that's the way i look at it.
if i emigrate it will be only for god

Yes, it is a very good reson for emigrating, since it surely means that you are going to be wanted and loved. Of course, you do need to know that the love is mutual.

However, if the cultural aspects (such as: behaviour, respect, food, language, religion and dress) of the country to which you are going to emigrate are substantially different from the culture that you know, it may prove a bit difficult, at least in the beginning for you to feel settled.

Don't overlook these potential difficulties!

I did it, I moved from the UK to Greece. It's a very, very hard thing to do and it never gets any easier. I'm expecting my first baby next week and I miss all my family so much.

I love my husband more than anything, but I wish we could move back to the UK sometimes, or have 6 months there and 6 months in Greece! It's always my family who pay to come here and I feel very guilty about it, it's far more difficult for us to go there and we can only go in winter when we are not working.

Your friend will have to be rally serious about this guy, and she must expect some culture shocks!!!

No because the one you love could end up being the one you hate in the end she could be love struck, It happens but the good thing is that if it doesn't turn out she can return to the people that really love erh right, nothing can take that away.Hope she does find happiness though anybody would deserve it and it's very hard to find a hero and not a zero,(there are so many around lately).all the good old fashioned ones are all taken or are still too young maybe we sould all look alittle harded, besides a hero is different to everyone right. But I would be scared to imigrate on a feeling for someone it's not too secure

Not really emigrate, but husband was offered a job in another part of the Country so, of course, we went with him. It will only be for a couple of years, he said. I'm still waiting to go back to the West Country. We moved 2nd July 1965! Wasn't sure I loved him that much!!!

I think I would, worl travel nowadays is easy and we all get paid holidays by law, so visiting is not such the problem it was years ago.

It would also depend on how long I had known this person.

Life's an adventure - go for it!!!

Hope it works out for your friend.

Yes i will be next year. I will really miss my life here and my family and i will really really miss my dog but i love him so much and i will do anything to be with him. I go and see him every month for a week and it hurts so much being away from him and not seeing him and i hate it when i have to leave him. So I'm going to move to Egypt to be with him. I will come home and see my family and they are welcome to come and see me but i feel it is time to spread my wings and be with someone i can have a future with.

I did. I came from USA to live in Egypt for my husband. Before I met him I was totally against the idea of marrying someone who lives in Egypt 'cause I didn't wanna live there. However, when I met my husband all this changed. Right now I'm living in Egypt and have been there for almost 2 yrs. I have no idea how it happened

I would love to emigrate full stop but don't have the cash to do it. Family could always visit and you can visit them ☺

Absolutely, you only get one go at life and when a love like that comes along you grab it with all your heart and go to the ends of the earth for them, sometimes you have to follow your heart instead of your head, you will see her again, nowhere is too far to visit these days.
