I'm 28 weeks and 4 days!! Your 6 weeks behind me!! CONGRATS!! No, lol...your not hurting your baby if you were you'd know and wouldn't sleep like that ;) Thats like when your baby is FINALLY here and if she sleeps with you in your bed, you won't roll on top of her :P Crazy how it works!! Lol...I do the same thing...and my belly gets kinda sore too...but I think it's more so from me just being in a few positions and I'm a belly sleeper, can't do that anymore ;) Just as long as you don't lay FLAT on your belly you should be fine!! Don't be worried to go to sleep...YOU NEED THE REST!! The best advice I have for you is to invest in some pillows or a few body pillows and maybe use one for your back and between your legs kinda in the front...it might keep you from rolling and maybe will help you rest...plus it gets VERY uncomfortable so...they help TONS!! ;) Hope I helped. Congrats again!! Good luck!! If you need me e-mail me ;)

I'm 32 weeks, and find that I do the same thing to a degree. Put a pillow between your knees, this helps me a bit. Also, a very flat pillow under your stomach to support and prop it up seems to keep me leaning back a bit. Finally, if you have the room, a pillow behind your back to lean on may discourage leaning forward.
There are fully body pillows, and pregnancy pillows that wrap around and accomplish all this stuff. I never invested in one, just use separate pillows. I think it helps a bit.
Oh, and a pillow behind the back discourages sleeping on your back.

Try a pregnancy body pillow...one brand to look for is a Snoogle. It curves around your body to provide support for your belly and legs. Chances are that your pain isn't affecting your baby, but as a back sleeper I know how uncomfortable it is to have to sleep on your side all the time! Best of luck and congrats!

As far as sleeping on my back....**sigh** i miss it lol so sometimes i cheat and jus lay on my back for like a min or two but within that min or two the baby kicks me soo im like OKAY OKAY YOU SPOIL CHILD lol i turn to the side

well you can't control your movements during ur sleep, try sleeping on your side with a pilow between your legs and one behind your back the pillow may stop you from rolling on your back through out the night. laying on your back pushes ur utuers on a large vein that takes blood back to your heart. which may cause dizzyness and feeling light headed

It is not wrong to sleep on your side. Do not sleep on your back, as it can suffocate your baby due to pressure. And sleeping on your stomach also can cut off the oxygen supply to your baby too. Sleep with a pillow or cushion between your knee's.

Best wishes.
