It's a daily thing at the moment. I never hear it ring, just get the 'missed call'.
I don't like calling back missed calls, as they always turn out to be sales.
Does anyone have any advice?

Why did nobody else try and call it. I am nosy so could not help it. This was something I could not miss. OK, I called it. It is for Kwik Fit Insurance. Strangely enough, we keep getting calls from them. We bought a battery from them a month ago, and had to leave our details. They now keep ringing me offering insurance. Hope this helps, have you had dealings with them recently?

I suggest this service: http://phonedetectives.co - The best reverse cell phone lookup service.

It's a cheap service that works great! It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names.. you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers.

You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone! The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory or personal information and they simply require your email to send spam. The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.

The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise! Trust it!

Reverse Phone Lookup area gives you additional access to millions of public records, including:

+ Find out the source of a harassing ("prank") caller
+ Research a number that appeared on your phone bill
+ Locate an old friend from high school or college
+ Research "missed calls" on your caller ID that you don't recognize

It may be the people who you have the phone with as what they do is they put you on automatic redial then when your turn comes up if they have no one free to speak to you it does this hence they go when you answer.
really annoying had it done to me a few times could not trace the number and when they got through I hit the roof as it was scaring me.
It will not be important just trying to sell you something

Try the website www.whocalledus.com. You can type in the number for free. If it's in their database, it will show up and tell you who it is.
Also, you can google it, and see if anything shows up.

they are sales calls
they will offer you to safe more money when calling
they will ask you to give them your details (email address and account number)
The best thing is to stop answering them so they will stop calling you

0800 is a freephone number. Call it and leave the phone off the hook and block one of their lines. It won't cost you a penny.

Additional:
Ignore the answer below and above. I think they must be on drugs. As you are obviously from the UK (I looked at your other Q&A) then 0800 is freephone, nothing else.

I really don't think anyone will know that number online. My advice, call them back, let it ring twice, hag up. They'll call back, trust me. That's what I do.
