Permission to dock the Battleship Iowa in San Francisco as a floating museum to our Navy and the role of the Iowa in World War II ... DENIED.

Permission for the Navy's Blue Angels to participate in an air show over San Francisco Bay ... OPPOSED

Permission for the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon to film a recruitment commercial on California Street in San Francisco ... DENIED.

And now this? I am sure that as in all of these instances, I will get some liberal answers attempting to excuse this behavior. Traffic…..safety…. right. Well, at least they are not still spitting on returning soldiers a la Vietnam.

Also, please attempt to avoid all of your, "why does Bush....." answers. These statements only further demonstrate your ignorance and your hesitance to address the question.

Its only the leftist loons in San Francisco who apparently don't think they are a part of the Union. Don't lump all of us Californians into that category. A lot of us are downright patriotic and support the military and its missions 100%

If you really were paying attention, which you weren't, you would know that the airline was at fault and apologised. There was no word from them that anyone on the plane, stopped for refueling, intended to get off. Once the offer was made a majority of the people on the plane stayed as they had no one there to greet them. The few that did were able to see those they wanted to see. As for the Marines. It was going to tie up traffice in San Fran. during one of the busiest times of the day. San Francisco has narrow streets and hills. Normal traffic in that city can be a nightmare. To do something like this at the time of day and on the particular day they wanted to film would inconvenience too many people just trying to make a living. The Blue Angels are approved to fly again. Some county commissioner or something had a bug up her tush about noise and safety concerns. Those have been worked out and the Blue Angels will fly again. There are already battle ships and other naval vessels open to the public in and around San Francisco Bay. Perhaps they simply didn't have room for another one.

You read half a story picking out only what you WANT to pick out and don't bother with the rest. I suggest you follow up on your stories and do a little more research before you make such rants. You look a bit foolish.

Understand this. Liberals loathe, I repeat, loathe the military. They do not want to see it, hear about it or be reminded of it. To liberals, the military is the root of all evil in the world. To liberals, the money spent for military purposes is misspent.

Also understand that Hillary Clinton loathes the military and that the military loathes Hillary Clinton. If she becomes Commander-in-Chief the military will empty out again just as it did while Bill Clinton was president. Retention of career military will be nearly impossible and recruitment of military personnel to serve under her will be equally difficult.

With the current threats aimed at America, her Allies and assets, we may very well need a draft again just to maintain some sort of fighting force. This is very dangerous on many levels. Some of which may be less obvious. For instance, it limits the President's ability to respond proportionally to threats. She would have to either do nothing or go nuclear. A very frightening scenario.

Welcome to the People's Republic of Kalifornia, where the only free speech allowed is speech in line with the daily kos's morning propaganda. It's backward world there, where military recruiters aren't allowed on any campuses, and they will not allow the Marines to film a video there (because it will "disturb traffic patterns") but yet will gladly block traffic to allow the leather clad Folsom freaks to march each other down it on leashes.

Oh, and lookie here: These bicyclists ride down the very same street every last Friday of the month, that the Marines wanted to film on, in protest to driving cars / global warming. See how smooth the traffic is moving? But yet, the Marines are not allowed to film on the freakin sidewalk. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Oh, and then there's this - where a man is attacked by police for exercising rights to free speech to illegals. In the Republic of Kalifornia, Mexicans have more rights than YOU do, apparently. Warning: it's rather graphic.

This state should be forced to secede from the United States and be sanctioned as a terrorist nation.

S.F. has lost it's mind. They have fetish parades and bring their kids to it. Their in another world.

Some of the most unlikely attendees of Sundays kinky leather fetish festival were under four feet tall.

Two-year-olds Zola and Veronica Kruschel waddled through Folsom Street Fair amidst strangers in fishnets and leather crotch pouches, semi and fully nude men.

The twin girls who were also dressed for the event wore identical lace blouses, floral bonnets and black leather collars purchased from a pet store.

Fathers Gary Beuschel and John Kruse watched over them closely. They were proud to show the twins off.

Individual cites have the right to say no.

They are saying no to make a point about the endless war in Iraq.

Welcome to America. It's their city. If you want a say, become a citizen of SF and participate in the city council or vote.
