From the time I could speak I wanted to be a star baseball player and rock star. I had it all figured out. During the summer I would play baseball and record records and tour during the off-season. When I realized I wasnt much of a ball player I decided I could announce games and record records. Eventually I just narrowed it down to being a rock star.
As I got into my 20s and the rock star thing wasnt taking off I went into radio to become a world famous disc-jockey. No one told me that it is extremely hard to find a radio job make a living in radio.
I havent given up either goal, but today Im a dad who works in customer service. Well, thats close to being a DJ.

I wanted to be a child nurse. Worked for a while as a nanny, kid monstrous one place, another kid a darling mother a real cat. went back to office work, now retired write poems and stories - for kids. Raised my own kids and fostered two so guess I got close in concept if not in fact. Probably would have made lousy nurse anyway - not one to take orders!
