Earlier in the month my brakes were squeaking but now even when i am in park. I press and hold the brake pedal I hear a hollow sound or broad whistle noise? What do I need to do to fix that? Clean and adjust or what ?

I changed the brake pads and rotors 3 months ago. READ my details carefully. I leave it in park, and hold the brakes and then i hear a sound I never heard before. The car is still sitting still !

Sounds like the Brake Booster has an internal leak. Does the car of brake peddle move at all while you're holding the peddle down?

It's possible even though good the rear brake shoes could be glazed and causing that sound, if so sand them a little, clean with a little brake clean dry and reinstall.

Sounds like you need nwe brake pads. If you let it go a month or more you will need new rotors too. The squeeking you heard earlier this month was a little metal pick that warns the driver that its time for new pads, that they have been worn thin. If you would have fixed it then it would have cost you abouit $30. You let it go too long, so now the price triples. Funny thing about cars, when you think that there is something wrong, there usually is. When there is something worng it doesn't fix itself, it only gets worse and more expensive.

Any brake noise should be checked to make sure the pads or shoes don't need replacing. Then you can safely ignore little brake squeaks which are normal most of the time.

If it makes noise under the dashboard with your foot on the brake, and your car is not moving, your brake booster has blown a seal and needs to be replaced.
