What do american people really think of the English?

It may be better if you all stopped thinking! and paid a visit to places like Yorkshire, York, Doncaster , Hull , Newcastle,Blackpool,Manchester,chester .In England
where real nice people live.They don't think they are better than anybody ,just better than low lifers.Racist ,Whats that!
North Wales is very nice,try the snowdonian park.as for the people there are good and bad everywhere round the world.

I have never been to England myself. My eldest sister lived there for 10 years in the 70's and early 80's. She married a Welchman.
Really all I know is from her experience and that of my step-dad who was in the US service and stationed there for awhile in the 60's.
Dark, wet, depressing with terrible boiled food is what I heard.Doesn't sound to lively to me.Her husband was a bit lazy so she divorced him and moved back to the states.

As a rather generic & somewhat stereotypical answer, we think English people drive itty bitty cars, talk funny, eat bizzarly named food, and call a bathroom by a given name (Lou). LOL.
