She is not the type of person I won't him around mainly because she is 50 and still going out late night staying drunk and high all of the time. Can the courts make me let her see him.

She could apply to the District Court for the right to visit with an unmarried minor child. However, the courts must consider whether grandparents' visitation is in the best interest of the child.

It would be very hard and expensive. Plus you said she is unfit, so she wouldn't win.
She will retaliate more than likely and find some reason to turn you in to DFS.
I wouldn't let mine go since she is a drunk.

Grandparents have no legal rights when it comes to their grandchildren.

The courts, nor any judge can make you let her see him.
