I don't know if I can pick just one lesson because I have learned so many valuable lessons from my parents. If I had to name one, I'll pick humility. Humility can imply not only being humble and modest and but it means respect. Respect in that you respect others because you are humble and modest. There's no room for prejudice, racism or hate when you have humility. You are tolerant of others and you accept people for who they are. When you have humility in your heart, that allows you to have much love in your heart as well.

kids born here didn't have a choice - my mum and dad chose this country to give birth to myself and siblings - not all kids are that lucky!
