No, he should be tried for treason. When he stands in the senate and says the war is lost, he is giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Democrats have no shame, Reid is among the worst, along with Murtha, Kerry, OSama obama, Charles Shumer and Hillary.
Apparently they forget they have taken oaths to support and defend the US

No. This is the United States of America. Harry and Rush both have the right to unlimited free speech. Debate is what makes this country great. Let them both talk. We the people can decide who the idiot is.

Rush particular spanked the liberal wienies in this one!! WTG Rush! the actual unhappy element is the liberal media gave Rush very constrained coverage, and what coverage they gave him, in addition they tried to furnish credit to Harry Reid and the democrats for the donation!! Harry Reid himself tried taking credit for it in his speech! and that they ask your self why they have the backside score for congress with 11%...

How has it been proven? By Rush doctoring/editing his own sound clips to cut out about 75% of the conversation in question so he can present it's "context?"
The truth is, Rush had never mentioned anything remotely related to the ABC News story until well AFTER his comment, once he realized he'd be catching crap for it.
It would be like me using the "n-word" and talking about how much I dislike blacks, then a couple minutes later lamely claiming "Uhhh, I was talking about something I read in a Mark Twain novel."
The Righties will continue to bend over backwards to defend the most indefensible of hypocrisy.
They rouse up faux-outrage over a wordplay in a newpaper ad, but when one of their own actually denigrates our brave troops, they "rush" to defend him.
Typical.

If Reid can't have the guts when MoveOn smeared a general but wants to hold a talk show host accountable for a twisted comment.
I can't wait to when he comes up for reelection and see what NV does to him.

I don't know what Harry Reid said, but it can't possibly be any worse than the slanderous blather Limbaugh spews forth every day on his propaganda program.
Limbaugh is a public nuisance, a Hitleresque garbage mouthpiece that uses lies, intimidation, distortions, and mockery to brainwash his 'ditto heads' into accepting his conservative agenda without allowing them any room to think for themselves.
Limbaugh needs to overdose on his prescription pills. He has caused more division in this country than perhaps any one individual - and at a time when our nation desperately needs more unity.
Just as Hitler's propagandists persuaded otherwise intelligent Germans that it was 'acceptable' to kill six million Jews, it's only a matter of time before Limbaugh persuades his listeners that it is 'acceptable' to injure - or even kill - anyone who doesn't subscribe to his beliefs. Limbaugh is a verbose toxic waste dump. -RKO- 10/04/07

No, but he should be impeached for saying the "war is lost".
I agree he should be doing his job instead of policing the radio.
