This is a very good question. \
I have read the comments and most of the people are saying
no..never..yeah
what about the arranged marriages in this world.?? there are lots cultures that have them...duh..
also there is many many "Mail ORDER brides"...tons of men get hitched to people that are really strangers..except for letters or the internet..yeah the old internet
Internet hook ups are on the rise..and also I know of one women who married a guy when he was in prison...duh..it did not work out...he was a felon in jail..but she married him..tatoo's and all..and he ended up a bad guy...what a surprise..

Actions speak louder then words...saying "I love YOU" is easy..but its what happens after you "I DO" that counts...

Not me cause there are alot of things that make up marriage and one big part of that is love and being told by the person who you love the most that they love you makes you smile from ear to ear

My wife and I have been happily married for 43 years.

In that time we have become friendly with many other couples. The general rule of thumb is the more a man tells his wife that he loves her - the less he really does.

Showing her is the important thing.

Marriage is not in my plans, so I wouldn't get married even if they said they love me!

Sometimes, those "I love you" come only in the first years of marriage and suddenly, they stop coming out of his/her mouth.
What should we do now? Love has different faces and marriage is full of surprises. Not everything is bad, there are some good days, honey!

I guess it would depend on how the person treated me. If all that was missing was the words, but I was treated as if I was loved and cherished... I could live without the words.
Words are cheap anyways, actions speak way louder.

The words them selves mean nothing really..it depends what he showed me with his actions etc..I mean if he says I love you all the time and then treat me like crap then I definitely wouldn't marry him but if he shows me respect and shows me how much he cares all the times that would mean a lot more..

Have a good day

Well maybe they have said it in another way, or they say it in something they do. Life isn't like the movies or tv. People don't say things like 'I've loved you since the moment I first laid eyes on you,' etc, etc. Just because the person doesn't say they love you, it doesn't mean they don't.

There's more to marriage than just love sometimes. Every man needs at least one trophy wife in his life.

Nope not me. That's not even a relationship. Without love how can you commit to marriage.
