Im curious for people who are abstinent or virgins for many years, what happens to semen. If semen is produced and not released from sex or masterbation where does it go. You would think the balls would swell and explode
I was watching The Last Temptation of Christ and in the movie a person is rediculing Jesus by saying his semen must have backed up into his brain. this made me curious as to what happens to it

I'm not 30+, however I am married and like to think I'm rather mature and could offer you a good opinion on this. I feel you absolutely did the right thing. You should never settle for less than you deserve, and I feel ANYONE deserves better than the way he treats you. "F*ck you" is not something one spouse (even though you're not married, whatever) should say to another. It is absolutely rude and disrespectful, and you do not deserve to get spoken to that way. He does sound extremely cocky and arrogant by saying the things like "I can get any girl I want" and "Women call me all the time." Who does he think he is, anyway? You deserve much better than that. Here's the thing -- I didn't see any information about how long you two have been together, however judging by the fact that you'd take the time to type this post and ask us all this question, I'm assuming it's been long enough so that he is pretty important to you. Therefore, that leads me to believe leaving him is going to hurt you very badly. I'm sorry, but it is my opinion you should leave him and stay gone -- sure, it will hurt for awhile but that hurt will eventually heal and leave you available for someone who will treat you right and you can make one another happy. I do just want to add that this is YOUR decision. If you feel you will be happy spending the rest of your life with him, then do so. However, I do think that you would be more happy spending your life alone than spending the rest of your life with a cocky jerk who treats you so horribly. Good luck.

When a person refrains from all forms of sexual release the semen is either given off at night in wet dreams or is simply reabsorbed into the body.

nope, it won't swell or back up into the brain. It gets absorbed by the body or excreted as waste through urine, since there is only one passage for urine and semen.
One good thing is if your planning for a family, those who refrain has a better chance of getting someone pregnant. Masturbation can lower the sperm count.
Another, its keeps you going, going, and going... in bed. It pays to keep it at bay for awhile. Its more satisfying for both

production will slow down too, as the body recognises low usage, so then the semen that is produced is passed with urine is less
Remember the actual semen content of ejaculate is very small indeed, and the rest of the ejaculate is only needed if you orgasm, so would be absorbed back into the body if not used.

The sperm never stay in the testicles....they wont explode...The sperm are continually transfered to the seminal vesicles where it is stored.When the vesicles get full they start sending signals to the brain to empty them...feeling horny..If they get overfilled the excess leaks out during urination in very small amounts you would not notice.Over time the brain says enough of this and tells the body to unload while you sleep.
Nothing ever explodes ...your brain just tells you want sex now.

The male body continually produces semen but it does not continue to accumulate. The body absorbs the excess which is not released.

It will either be obsorbed back into your system, or if there is too much pressure you will have a "wet dream" which is just your body's way to open the valve and let the pressure go.

at times, you will have a wounder full wet dream. That is ane way I know of, that the body gets rid of the exsis sperm.
there are other ways, but for those, keep a jar of Knob Polish handy.
