Not to my knowledge...the requirement is that you have a fully-licensed driver with you at all times when you operate a car with a learner's permit. That said, you really need to check your state's Rules of the Road to ensure there isn't some local twist on that requirement.

If you have a learners permit, and you are driving, you need a licensed adult with you.(in the front passenger seat)
You can ALSO have someone else with the two of you as a passenger in the car. Reguardless of age.

So your Parent and a 14 year old girl are your driving instructors? Sounds like a lot of learning going on there..17 to 20 young people die each day. Distracted drivers cause accidents. Please take a car control drivers course. Go on line TireRack.com. and Look for "the drivers edge" We parents really have dropped the ball and We need to get better driver training for our Young People before we send them into the meat grinder. Car's are so easy to drive and traffic is so close being carefull is so important.

Depends on the laws of your state I suppose.... but where I am from, as long as you have your full license, and the girl has her learners license, then it is legal. there can't be anyone else in the car though! just you two. or however it is. if you have the learners license, you must have someone that has their full license driving with you.
