I don't think anyone is capable of loving me. I'm broken.

Every once in a while, while out for some errand or reason, my eyes cannot help nostalgically stare at a couple in mid-throes of being in love. They seem at that time of fresh beginning so much the only two inhabitants of such a private, star-dusted universe. Tender and magically only THEIRS!
But then, even though I remember such times with sweet, "smile upon my face" nostalgia, I go on my way not looking again. I have had wonderful love experiences, but always seem to have discovered that after a short while of "heavenly bliss" something changes from the sublime to the merely tolerable. And then I ask a lot of questions of my beloved, to merely get something like this : "what's wrong now? - what is it that you expect from me, I'm here, right?" This said from the lover now paying more attention to the newspaper, T.V. or, with a head which has become a periscope, looking blatantly at every other good looking girl
he sees! Well, that to me, I mean, such neglectful behaviour is NOT for me! I sometimes wonder what happens to men, after a few months of being such smitten gentlemen? Were they in some Darwinian fugue or were they just putting on an act to get their way until they become bored, or sneakily
go on their way?
Seems to happen for the most, all of the time.
So my answer conclusively is: I am not afraid of falling in love, nor do I want to go through those humiliating stages again. I simply care more about myself NOW, not to opt for the wear and tear of a new relationship. Not as long as men behave in such an incomprehensible fashion, which I have a strong notion, will continue forever!
Great question, it has taken me back to every single relationship which would leave me wondering : "What the
F_ _ _!, happened? No, no more for me, thank you!!!

It's true, never again can it be like the first time, but that doesn't mean it can't be better than the first time.
Maybe it's all too fresh and painful at the moment, but can you honestly stop and thing that you will now be on your own for the rest of your days?
Besides loving again will not be something that you'll agree in advance, one day you'll just wake up and find that there you are again, and how did that happen?
It's a lovely line is Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars"...."I don't know where, confused about how as well"

Never say never . If the thought of loving again is hard the thought of never loving again must be even harder to cope with. I would love to have an all consuming fairytale love but in reality I dont think that happens. I have a comfortable love, companionship and friendship that I cant imagine living without.
Remember "Love never broke anyones heart
It never let anyone fall
Its not really love if it tears you apart
Love never broke anyones heart"
OR
Its not love that breaks your heart but the leaving of love!

It fills you me with happiness! it just depends who you decide to love, if you're in love with those arseholes who don't respect you and don't love YOU for who you are, then you'll most prob have another scared shitless experience. On the other hand if you do find a guy with these great qualities, you will be filled with happiness! :)

In time, you will.
The thing is when you don't have it, you yearn for it and think it is the most amazing thing. You even envy other people who have it.
But when you do have it, you realise it is not actually as good as you thought it was.
I am happy being alone at the moment. In fact, I wouldn't have it any other way. But in time, I know that will change.
