It feels like this way because you are not doing what you might thing k that you are doing. Startling discoveries can be made if we just try to explore a secondary level of being in the mind: constant self-critique and thoughts that runs deep inside the mind making things more enjoyable at times and less bearable at some other, we often wonder why is this so that I enjoyed a company first time better then ever afterwards, and then why do we loose interest in things that we once liked best? What we need for the deep thoughts is a habit of thinking about thinking – thoughts not only about thoughts but also about thinking itself.
When subtle changes take place they some time are sensed as pleasant surprises, realisation of what have just been so much a part of our mind that we never managed to see it from a distance, subtle changes also make us feel annoyed at the persistence of things that we often get ourselves use to in life. Why would I bother about the mundane, the tedious and boring routines of my life if I do not see the possibility emerging for things more interesting and exciting for a change? Hasn’t the change already taken place somewhere? We feel like this because there is a great deal more going on inside the deeper recesses of our mind, suggesting us otherwise. You better listen to that, I would suggest.

Because you are!
Everyone's day to day life is very routine.
You can't pick and choose what you want to do when... you can't decide that one week you will work on a Wednesday from 9AM until 4 PM, then the next week you think you will work from 10AM until mid day on a Monday and Friday! (Unless you are self employed and don't really need to earn any money!)
Humans seem to like and need routines, predictability... it gives a sense of security and safety. "We" seem to like things kept neat, organised and "understandable". That's partly why people have stereotypes and "pigeon hole" people so readily. People get put into category's. Its all for routine and predictability.

Coz u do, and that's NOT life. Step on the table and look at things from a new perspective. If things are mundane, it's time to make some changes, radical ones if necessary. Whatever you want to do, do it NOW! Tomorrow you could be run over by a bus or have a heart attack, then it's time wasted, and you'll have to do it all over again in your next life.

If you feel this way, praise yourself lucky. It is extremely stressful if there is ALWAYS something new happening. This is happening in my life and in my job. I would like now it would stop and things would be a bit similar. So enjoy it as in one way this can be more relaxing, and less stressful.
