What are the various steps in acquiring a condo in the philippines. Does one need a lawyer? What are the various transaction costs? Is there a website which provides this info? Lastly, if I decide to sell in a few years, is this an easy process. Any help much appreciated.

Unless you're a Phillippine national you cannot own real property in the PI. About your only shot is to marry a Filipina (or Filipino if you're a woman).
