I have a 4039 John Deere diesel with a smalle coolant leak problem it burns a little and a little gets into the oil. This engine was over heated warping the head which I shaved and put a new head gasket on, It must of melted one of the liner o rings or seals. Will a block water glass type seal work for this if so which is he best kind to try?

Block sealer?
It should work on a water jacket leak.
But not on a compression leak.

K & W Nano?
Looks interesting.
Try it............If it works, GREAT.
If not, it's worth $20 to try...

There's a product out on the market, called Iron tight. Pour this in your coolant and follow the directions on the back of the bottle from there. This should help you. Try Napa dealer type stores. I don't think Canadian tire stocks this product.

I used CRC and Bar's leaks both. CRC based was harder to use but it did work. You need to flush the coolant because it reacts with it and becomes ineffective.

My car is a honda accord 1986 2DR which currently has another problem with stalling.

to be honest with you i wouldn't take the chance. Best to be safe than sorry. If you take a browse on the internet i know there are a lot of companies that will sell you a assembled block in exchange for your old one at a very good discount.
