Has to be Christmas.
Cold, crisp, sunny days & the children praying for snow daily.
Heading off to the farm to pick the X-mas tree,(a military operation in itself) and then squeezing the biggest tree possible into the front room, followed by having to admit that the other half was right and it IS a foot too tall and we DO need the saw again this year, 'sorry', to decorating it within an inch of it's life with clear lights so that we have to issue sun bed goggles to visitors.
Oh, and sitting on Christmas Eve wrapping loads of presents and arranging them under the tree for the next morning with a glass of red wine trying not to tell the other what you've got them because you're so excited.
Followed by the kids dragging Santa sacks onto your bed at 6am and excitedly showing you what he bought them and then eating their breakfast at breakneck speed so they can open their pressies & have another go at the chocolate orange Santa bought them before X-mas dinner (which is always HUGE and prepared with a Crofts Original in hand), the Queens speech and then James Bond for hubby to fall noisily asleep to while general havoc ensues around him and I wonder why we bought noisy stuff AGAIN this year!
And before you all start, I know that presents and trees is not what Christmas is supposed to be all about but what it IS about is Family (note the capital 'F') and Friends (again, capital 'F') and remembering the fact that we're Fortunate (check me out, lol) to be here at all!
And besides, I LIKE trees and presents. But especially the tree :)

Fourth of July and Christmas. I like the 4th because it is a great time to snuggle with that special someone and watch something romantic explode in the sky. It is usuaully warm so you can crawl up on top of a blanket and watch the fireworks. However, Christmas is perfect too. Spending time with the family. Watching what people give and get and everyones smiling faces and then thinking about Jesus. Its perfect.

If I were to choose a time of the year that I love most that would be on Christmas. During Christmas is the time we I spend most of my time to my family. Anybody who doesn't want Christmas? It might be Grinch but then he realized that there's nothing wrong about the season, it's just his wrong perception of the occassion.
During Christmas vacation aside from spending it with my family and relatives, I find more time to relax and unwind. In fact there's no classes. One thing I want. Also during Christmas, it's quite cold so it feels relaxing. Isn't it?
One thing I love most is the way how we, Filipinos celebrate the occasion. We visit to our ninong and ninang. We greet evryone A MERRY CHRISTMAS. It sounds good to hear. Isn't it? We share gifts among our love ones, too, and we make sure that it would bring joy to them.
When Christmas comes I always hear Santa Claus. Don't you? When I was a kid I wonder who Santa Claus is. I even ask for a gift from him. I hang socks on our door. One time when I wake up the other day, I found a present inside. I received a toy. I was glad and I thought Santa Claus is true. But I got confused how come he put the gift inside our house since we don't have a chimney. That would be funny but it's a great experience, only to find out that it was my mother who gave that wonderful gift. So I realized that the Santa Claus they are talking about is our parents. It's either our mothers or our fathers. And it was a big realization.
Christmas is not only season of receiving but a season of giving. "I always have in mind that it's better to give than to receive" but I do appreciate also if you give gifts to me. I am demanding you but if you want then you may do so.(LAUGHS) That's only a joke, (but I do).
But most of all, the reason why celebrate Christmas is that we celebrate the BIRTH OF JESUS. Am I right. Do not forget about it because that's th emost important thing to remember.
CHRISTMAS IS THE SEASON OF LOVE AND SELFLESS REMEMBERING OUR GOD.
Speaking of Christmas, it's getting nearer. Have you counted how many days left. You might have been feeling excited? Aren't you? Well I am.
GOD BLESS.

I love spring & christmas! From a young age i've always loved xmas theres just somthing about it that is so appealing. I think mainly because it's the one time of the year where family and friends really make an effort to get together.

That's a tough one!I love Xmas, I love opening presents and giving presents (I'm only 19 so I'm still a child! lol), and sitting infront of the fire watching xmas films!!And I love the cold and the snow!
But....
I love Summer!I love it when it's sunny n hot outside, when the birds are singing, the flowers are out!!
So I can't decide....have to be both!

I don't have a favourite time of year. Any day could be special depending on what it brings to make me happier.
However, I find the snow beautiful as there is no snow in South America.

Oh I agree with you, It's got to be Christmas and for the same reason as you, watching my children's eyes as they open their presents is one of the most wonderful honours as a parent, AND eating all those CHOCOLATES and of course...........have a good one (LoL)

Mine is winter months..I love to stay inside and not have to cut the grass and fight the bugs that plague us in Michigan.
Also the days are shorter so it is dark longer. I prefer to stay in bed as long as I can and I get my exercise swimming and working out in the YMCA..but I enjoy colder weather so the winter is my favoriate time of year.
