In my home country gay baseball players are not allowed. Georgie Porgie, you would not be allowed to play baseball in my home country because you would be distracted by your lust for men in tight pants. Am I right?

There is nothing in MLB rules that would prevent a gay player from taking part. There haven't been any that have come out of the closet during their career, but since even the most conservative estimates put the gay population at around 2%, with 750 MLB players it would be extremely unlikely (around a 1 in 4 million chance, by my calculations) that they're all straight.

Yes, there have been gay players in the MLB, and there is today. It is allowed even though the players may treat them differently. Most players who are gay will "come out of the closet" (no pun intended) after retirement.
